Q.1 Who can attend the Workshop?
Officials from ICN member agencies and Non-Governmental Advisors (NGAs) who have completed the registration. Spouses of participants cannot attend the Workshop and any other related activities.
Q.2 What should I do to register the Workshop?
You need to complete registration online in advance. You will be able to access the registration form after you get the registration code from JFTC (in case you are member agency) or the member agency in your jurisdiction (in case you are NGA). Please complete the form in accordance with the direction. You will get the confirmation email after completion. If you do not receive the confirmation email, please contact both JFTC and Stage Inc. (managing company).
Q.3 Is there any participation fee for the Workshop?
There is no participation fee. However, participants or their institutions/agencies are responsible for covering travel, accommodation and other related costs.
Q.4 Is there financial support for attending the Workshop?
ICN can provide financial support in accordance with the ICN Travel Funding Guidelines. Member agencies who need funding are required to contact the ICN Secretariat. Please be noted that the number of member agencies who can receive the support are limited.
Q.5 I am not able to pre-register online. Can I register when I arrive at the Workshop?

Q.1 What should I do after registration?
Participants are each responsible for all the necessary logistics. For instance, you need to book your flight and hotel (some recommended hotels are offering special rates for participants, see “Accommodation”) and acquire VISA (if necessary, see “VISA”) by yourself.
Q.2 Do I need a visa to visit Japan?
Please see “VISA” for more information about VISA. If you need an invitation letter from JFTC or have any questions about VISA, please contact Stage Inc. (managing company). Please note that you are required to check the entry requirements by yourself.
Q.1 Will there be free Wi-Fi at the conference venue?
Free Wi-Fi service will be provided at the conference venue.
Q.2 Will there be transportation services to the conference venue?
Free shuttle bus services will be provided between recommended hotels and the venue (see “Bus Timetable”). In case you do not use the shuttle bus services, you can use public transportation services (see “Access”).
Q.3 What should I bring to the Workshop?
For smooth registration at the venue, we would like you to bring the registration confirmation email. We also encourage participants to bring their own devices such as laptops and tablets since they will not be available for rent.
We will provide a program book including conference agenda at the Workshop. Other materials will be available on this website for download (see “Materials”).
Q.1 Is the Workshop open to press?
Plenary sessions would be open to press. For press inquiries, please contact JFTC.
Q.2 Can I watch the discussion of the Workshop via online?
We are planning to stream plenary sessions on this website. We will provide more detailed information by the end of October.
